Getting a job!!! (Journal)

I participated in Boston Career Forum for a few days in when I had thanksgiving vacation. Since Japan has job hunting season at this time for university students, who will graduate in 2011, I also have to get information concerns about Japanese companies. Therefore, I tried to do that there. The job fare was very helpful for Japanese students who have stayed in the U.S., because a lot of Japanese companies did not only give own information to them, but also give interview to them; Furthermore, some companies might have hired students if they found students who they strongly required to work with. Actually I had two interviews, and I was asked about some general questions, which were about my personality, what I want to do in the company, what I can do, and why I am interested in the company. When I had an interview, I could not explain correctly. Then, I realized I have not analyzed concerns about those questions. Since I regretted I didn’t do that, I decided to quest those questions deeply.
I would like to organize the order, which we should think about before we will get a job.

The first step is that we should reflect that what we want do and what we can do in a company before we will get a job. In other words, we must recognize our self capability or personality, which I have learned or experiences in our life. This is the most important steps because of getting a job is related to my life directly. If people get a job, which they don’t fit into their capability, they should feel uncomfortable. One of my friends is working as clerk in a sweet shop, but actually she has wanted to work as scientist in same as the company. That is because she has researched concerns about genetic engineering in her university. I think that she should have considered her future when she decided on a company. Therefore, what we know about our self is significant before we will get a job.

Second step is that we should think that which industry we want to work before we will get a job. I think that it is related to the first step. In our society, there are a lot of kinds of industry, which food industry, medical industry, economic industry and so on. We must belong to one of industries we are interested in. If we consider our self, which looks like first step, it is easy to decide about that. For example, if a person specializes in the medical care, s/he should decide to work in medical industry. Even though a person chooses one industry which is not related to his/her major, the choice is right if s/he think about first step deeply.

Final step is that we should choose a company, which we want to work. The important point is which items we are interested in. In my case, I focus on company’s policy when I choose a company I want to work. Therefore, I should check it out and compare between similar companies. One of my friends has focused on the company’s name. Thus, the choice depends on people.

In conclusion, to get a job is the important, hence we have to follow above the order before we get a job.

Why don't women expect to get married in the future? (Journal)

A few weeks ago, I received message from my best friend. It was saying that she will get married next August, and she has wished to invite me to her wedding. I was glad to hear about the good news. Actually, I already have been invited for friend’s wedding twice. I have been curious about their age, because I think that their ages are too early to get married. According to the media, the ages of marriage in Japan is higher than before, and people who don’t expect to get married tends to decrease recently. In fact, one of the surveys shows that age at the first marriage in Japan is 27.8, whereas the result was approximately 25 in 1996. I wonder if only my friends are special or not. Anyway, I want to think about that why Japanese women don’t expect to get married in the future? There are some reasons which support with this question. I would like to suggest one of the reasons; it is that women can make a lot of money by their selves.

Since there are a lot of chances to insist Japanese women’s capacity in society, they can grow their capacity, and can make a lot of money, which makes their lives wealthier. As a result, they can live by themselves, which means that they don’t need to rely on men. A long time ago, it was totally different from now, because women have to stay in a house and only do housework for men. However, employment opportunity for women, which is assisted by government or companies, has been spread in society. Therefore, it has been easier for women to work as well as men. My professor is the one of them. She is almost forty ages, but she has never got married before, also she has not had boyfriend for long time However, she makes a lot of money, have a good status, and live in a luxury apartment. In short, the flexible environment to work for women affects “new” marriage’s phenomenon, which the number of never married women is increasing.

In my case, I wish to get married, even though I can make a lot of money. What do you think about the question, guys? Some of my friends agreed with my opinion, but they also suggested that “no one sexy men around us, that’s why we can’t make boyfriends (or get married)!” This excuse is kind of reason to support with the question, isn’t it?

Research Paper Outline

Thesis statement: Nuclear bombs are also used all over the world. Some countries make them so that they are able to defend their countries against warfare. However, I strongly suggest that nuclear weapons should be banned and eradicated in the world for the three following reasons; changing relationships between countries, serious damage, and it has been a continuing process that others have tried to stop.

1. The history of Nuclear weapons. (It could be introduction.)
A. The relationship between the World War and The Manhattan Project.
B. The characteristic of Nuclear weapons (Usage and reaction of Nuclear weapons).
C. Name countries which have owned, or not owned Nuclear weapons.

2. The first reason to ban nuclear weapons - Changing relationships between countries.
A. Power for U.S. From Russia’s Old Nuclear Weapons. (This is the latest article on the New York Times and it is related to Cold War)
B. North Korea threatens the world using nuclear weapons.

3. The second reason to ban nuclear weapons - Provided serious damage by Nuclear weapons.
A. The story of the World WarⅡ.
B. The supposition of result by scientist.( including Numerical Information)

4. The third reason to ban nuclear weapons - It has been a continuing process that others have tried to stop.
A. Specific organizations are related to abolition of nuclear weapons. (Including Numerical Information)
B. The president Obama speech concerns about nuclear weapons in 2009.

5. Conclusion
A. Nuclear weapons are not what are best for this world. ( I will show key words which I show above.)
B. Hopefully one day, we will live in a world where there are no nuclear weapons.

-North Korea Presses U.S. to Agree to Bilateral Talks.
North Korea has again pressed the United States for a decision about starting bilateral talks, with a diplomat warning Monday that the North was ''ready to go our own way'' with its nuclear weapons program. ''Now that we have shown the generosity of stating the position that we would be willing to talk to the United States and hold multilateral talks including the six-way talks, it is time for the United States to make a decision,'' an unidentified spokesman for the North's Foreign Ministry told its official news agency, K.C.N.A. Energy Wild Cards
Two “energy wild cards” — the
commercialization of nuclear fusion
energy and cars that run
without fuel — could result in improved
health, but also in economic
and political upheaval, said
Francis Stabler, principal of
Future Tech LLC.
Deuterium, a form of hydrogen
that is abundant in ocean water, is
very conducive to fusion reactions,
according to Stabler. If a
breakthrough occurs in harnessing
deuterium and using it to generate
fusion energy, nuclear fusion
might soon displace fossil fuels
and nuclear fission. Fusion-plant
construction would boom, as
would refurbishment of existing
nuclear-fission and fossil-fuelpowered
plants into plants that
generate fusion energy. Within 40
years, most of the world’s power
plants would be fusion-based.
“China is currently bringing online
one coal plant every week.
They could switch over to building
fusion plants at that same rate
because they need the additional
power,” said Stabler.
Gas stations could practically
disappear if the second wild card
occurs. Stabler envisions car engines
powered by energy modules
that generate either zero-point energy,
which draws energy out of a
vacuum, or low energy nuclear reactions,
which merge neutrons
with atoms at low speeds to produce
radiation-free fusion energy.
Unlike combustible fuel, which
vehicle owners have to refill once
every few days, these modules
might only need “refilling” once
every three to four years.
In the short term, the combination
of nuclear fusion and fuel-free
cars would lead to serious economic
trouble
for countries whose
economies depend on exports of
oil and natural gas — Bolivia, Canada,
Russia,
Venezuela, and most
of the Middle East. The hardships
might lead to political upheavals
and more incidents of terrorism.

-Nuclear energy and proliferation risks: myths and realities in the Persian Gulf

How nuclear warheads work
In analysing the relationship between nuclear energy and nuclear weapons in the
Persian Gulf, it is helpful briefly to explain some of the basic technical principles
of nuclear warhead operation, as set out in published literature. A breakout nuclear
weapons state would probably first develop a basic single-stage fission device,
perhaps with tritium boosting, before perfecting more sophisticated thermonuclear
weapons (‘H-bombs’). Indeed, given the substantial explosive yield
obtainable from boosted fission weapons, it may not be worthwhile for a breakout
state to invest any further time and financial resources in developing complex
thermonuclear
weapons.

I am proud of exercise!! ( Journal )

I like exercise truly since I think that it is valuable to maintain health, weight, and spiritual stabilization. Recently, I decided to start exercising twice a week to be blessed with those advantages. Now, I am getting a lot of stressful because of assignment out of classes, my poor English skill and a lack of sleep even though I have could found a lot of fun. Before making decision about that, I had had an obsession with eating. In other words, my brain had been working to think about food. As you know, I have gained my weight unfortunately. It was vicious circle so that I had gotten stressful more and more. And then, I came up with exercise to resolve such my trouble efficiently. I began to go to the gym last week, and I take approximately two hours exercising in usual. Right now, I am thinking that exercising is really important for me.

One of the most important reasons is that my weight lost, my muscle is stronger than before, and, I am getting healthy life. I hope that my weight will lose more and more, and my muscle is going to be much stronger in future. This is my dream and pleasure also. This is just kidding, but I am wondering that to increase my weight is the biggest trouble for me. Anyway, through the occasion, I am talking care of my life style. That is to say, my brain stopped to think about only eating and then, made a vow not to do excessive eating and drinking from now on. Thus, exercise gives me pleasure, losing weight and healthy life. Therefore it is valuable.

Another reason is that my feeling is much better than before, which means that my spiritual is really stabilization because of my life style is becoming stability. Of course, I am only glad to lose my weight, but I get another advantage from exercise. That is that I am becoming a good planner time, which means that I can be organizing time than before. I try to make time to exercise even though I am a lot of things to do. Why? I am sure that exercise gives me pleasure. Thus, my life is becoming stability and affects my feeling.

In short, I am going to keep exercise from now on, because it has a lot of advantages for my life!

Compare and contract (Outline)

「Comparison between dorms and apartment on campus」

There are a lot of differences between dorm’s life and apartment’s life in the U.S.

First of all, apartment’s fee per month is cheaper than dorm’s fee. In fact, I have heard from a lot of people many times that apartment fee is cheaper than dorm’s fee. In my case, I am living double room in dorm, which is near the campus. And I pay approximately $800 a month as housing fee. On the other hand, according to my friend who is living in apartment, its fee is almost $300 a month.

Secondly, apartments have more rooms and furniture than dorms. Unlike the dorm’s room has just one room, there are a lot of rooms in apartment. Hence dorm’s rooms have desks to study and closets in general because of there are not space to place a lot of things. In contrast, in apartment, there is a lot of furniture such as couches, big table, and so on.
Thirdly, residents in apartments can cook in room, whereas residents in dorms can’t do that since although apartments have kitchen in room, rooms in dorms don’t have. Unlike residents in dorm have to eat meals in restaurants and dining room or buy meals, residents in apartment cook and eat in room, which means that they don’t have to eat outside as long as they don’t require that.

Finally, dorms have more safety than apartments because dorms have card scanner to identify residents who are living in there, on the other hand apartments don’t have the security in general. In another case, although there is a reception near the entrance in dorms, general apartments don’t have a reception. Even if a suspicious person enters the dorm, they can’t enter because dorms have scanner systems and a reception. In contrast, it is possible to enter for a suspicious person in apartments because they don’t have those systems.

In brief, there are a lot of differences between dorm’s life and apartment’s life. Which comfortable to live in dorms or in apartments depends on people

Causes and effects about having stiff shoulder (Outline)

Having stiff shoulder caused by the following factors: unnatural position, feeling cold, and psychological problems.

1.First of all, unnatural position effects having stiff shoulder since keeping unnatural position makes shoulder’s muscles tense.
For examples,

People who do deskwork with a stoop or their legs crossed have stiff shoulder easily.
Also, people who use pillows which are too tall and soft for long time have stiff shoulder easily.

As a result, unnatural position causes shoulder’s muscles heavy task, and then effects having stiff shoulder.

2. Secondly, feeling cold effects having stiff shoulder since unconsciously shoulder’s muscle could be contract easily.
For example,

People who rarely exercise in winter season have stiff shoulder easily.
In another case, it is easy to be unnatural position.

As a consequence, contraction of shoulder’s muscle cause muscle’s blood circulation, and effect having stiff shoulder.

3.Finally, psychological problem effects having stiff shoulder since stress makes muscle’s blood vessel contract.
For examples,

People who remain unstable and strain have stiff shoulder easily.
Additionally, perfectionist is easy to have stiff shoulder.

In short, stress also cause muscle’s blood circulation, and effects having stiff shoulders.

On the whole, having stiff shoulder is related to task for shoulder’s muscles and muscle’s blood circulation. Those are caused by unnatural position, feeling cold, and psychological problems.
